what are the types of processes used in the preservation using super critical carbon dioxide and what are the effects of this method of preservation on microbial activity?

Typically the food is exposed to the gas vapors, that is the most standard carbon dioxide process in the US and it inhibits microbial activity (but does not stop it altogether), but if the mold growth has already begun, it will slow it, but not stop it completely. I don’t even know why the heck I know this!!!! I need to read less!
